AASP 2011 Accommodation

Delegates will be responsible for making their own accommodation arrangements, and a map showing the locations of the accommodation relative to the location of the conference venue can be found in the PDF file at the bottom of this web-page.

Conferences are conferences, and if all you require is a room for the night, we have reserved inexpensive rooms in one of the Solent University Students Halls of Residence, the Lucia Foster Welch Student Residence, close to the conference venue.

100 standard single study-bedrooms have been reserved for the conference, on a room-only basis at Lucia Foster Welch Residence, (please refer to location 6 on the map in the PDF at the end of this page), the Residence is located close to Ocean Village waterfront, and a 10 minute walk from National Oceanography Centre.

Each bedroom is a fully furnished study-bedroom, with a wash basin (bedding and towels are provided).  Individual flats have shared wc, shower facilities and kitchen/diner.  The kitchen/diner is equipped with storage areas, fridge freezer, electric hobs, conventional and microwave ovens and kettles.  Please note limited crockery is provided as delegates will be catered for at the National Oceanography Centre.

The cost of accommodation will be £33.00 per person per night and car parking is available at an additional £5.00 per vehicle for 24 hours, both prices quoted include VAT.

The address of the accommodation is as follows:
